Detailed description

What this aircraft is built for.

The KA-226T is built for operators who need a compact, precise and highly maneuverable helicopter
for missions in urban areas, remote locations, difficult terrain and limited landing zones. Its coaxial
rotor layout provides excellent hovering accuracy, strong controllability and a high level of safety
during operations close to buildings, infrastructure, ships or small prepared sites.
The aircraft is equipped with two Safran Arrius 2G1 engines with FADEC digital engine control. This
powerplant supports reliable operation, efficient performance and safer flight handling, including the
ability to continue flight or perform a safe landing in the event of one engine failure.
One of the main advantages of the KA-226T is its modular design. The helicopter can be configured
for passenger transport, cargo delivery, medical evacuation, police operations, patrol work, search
and rescue, observation and other special-purpose missions. The cabin module can be adapted
depending on the operator’s needs, making the aircraft flexible for organizations that require several
mission profiles from one platform.
The KA-226T can operate during the day and at night, in standard and difficult weather conditions,
over land and water, and in windy environments. It is designed for use in a wide temperature range
from -50°C to +50°C and can operate in high humidity conditions. The aircraft does not require
hangar storage, which makes it practical for regions with limited aviation infrastructure.
HELI helps evaluate whether this model fits the client’s mission profile, operating geography,
passenger or cargo needs, landing-site conditions, equipment requirements, documentation path
and acquisition budget before moving into configuration, technical review and delivery coordination.
