The MI-26T is built for operators who need maximum lifting capability and a helicopter platform
capable of transporting oversized cargo either inside the fuselage or on an external sling. It is used
for transport, evacuation, firefighting support, industrial logistics, remote construction, humanitarian
missions and other demanding operations.
The helicopter is recognized as one of the most capable serial heavy-lift helicopters in the world. It
can carry up to 20 tonnes of cargo and is suitable for missions where standard transport aircraft or
smaller helicopters cannot operate due to terrain, infrastructure or cargo size limitations.
The MI-26T family includes configurations and modifications for civil heavy-lift operations.
Modernized versions can include updated avionics, glass cockpit concepts, navigation systems and
crew workload reduction solutions depending on selected configuration and aircraft condition.
