Designed to launch the turbo starter. It is a four-pole DC electric motor, series excitation, two-wire design, connected to the turbo starter of the overrunning clutch product. The ST-111T starter has a centrifugal switch that disconnects the starter from the power circuit when a certain armature speed is reached. The ST-111TM starter does not have a centrifugal switch.
